Engels bibliograaf (Calcutta 1776 - Kensington 18 Nov. 1847), werd in 1804 Anglicaans geestelijke, later bibliothecaris te Althorp, en eindelijk koninklijk kapelaan te Kensington. Hij schreef vele werken op het gebied van de bibliografie en was de oprichter en eerste onder-voorzitter van de Roxburgh-Club (zie bibliophilie).
