Engels kerkhistoricus (Coulsdon, Surrey, 15 Sept. 1856 - Folkestone g Jan. 1924), bestudeerde in het bijzonder de Armeense teksten en werd in 1913 benoemd tot Honorary Fellow aan het University College te Oxford.
