Warehouses in Wormerveer

betekenis & definitie

The originally 17th-century warehouse in Amsterdam (Zaanweg 12) was commissioned by J.M. van Gelder received a new neo-Renaissance façade. P. Ruyter built the warehouse De Ruiter (Zaanweg 4) in 1841 for the storage of blueberry and cocoa. This building, with wooden side facades and a plastered stone façade, was raised in 1912 and provided with a mansard roof. The wooden warehouse De Klok (Zuideinde 12), dating from around 1730, received the current stone façade by order of Van Gelder & amp; Zn., Who then also had a house (Zuideinde 11) and an office (Zuideinde 10) built.
