(Lagendijk approx., Municipality Uitgeest), located northwest of Krommenie, is a moated fortress of the Defense Line of Amsterdam in defense of an acces (road Uitgeest-Krommenie) with a earthwork from 1896. From 1903, the elongated bomb-free main and front building (with observation dome), flanked by separate lifting domes. From the fort runs a line wall in southern direction with a secondary battery (1903).
