The oil factory T. Duyvis Jz is located on the outer dike site on the Lagedijk (between Vermaningstraat and Schipperslaan). From 1914 it dates back to J.P.F. van Rossem and W.J. Vuyk designed silo building with three rows of six silos above two company floors with columns (mushroom floors) of reinforced concrete.
In 1917 the warehouse 'Wolga' (1927) of four floors with mushroom floors, executed by the Hollandsche Maatschappij to make Works in reinforced concrete, arose. The form. laboratory building of the Duyvis factory (Lagedijk 52) is a three-storey building from 1950 with low substructure and rounded façade angle. Nearby is the machine factory of P.M. Duyvis (founded 1885).
