The previous officer's mess in Huisduinen
(Duinweg 4), built in 1942 for German officers and as a guest house, is a robust single-storey building in tight classicist style with colonnades on one end and in the middle of the long façade. Furthermore, there is a large military shed on the associated site and a robust gatehouse with two passageways.
