From the 17th century, the Hoogstraat 22-22a warehouses with linked, capped facades and a hoverfly. Such a hoarding also have the plastered building Achteromstraat 17 (partly basement) and the warehouse Nieuwstad 54 with toothed cornice and original underpinnings (both 18th century).
Examples of 19th-century warehouses are Herengracht 34, Hoogstraat 17 and the broad coupled warehouse Middenstraat 49-51 (1894).
