van De Weere in Hoogwoud (Driestedenweg 3), east of Hoogwoud, came into being in 1905-'06 to a neo-gothic design by N. Molenaar and replaced an older church. The tall three-aisled basilical church with five-sided closed choir has a slender tower of three sections with frontals and octagonal needle strings. After fire damage in 1963 the church was restored in 1964. The main altar is from the construction period, the Ypma organ from 1885.
