betekenis & definitie

(Westzijde 204-208) is a wide wooden building with wooden back and a brick facade. In 1730, the building consisted of a smaller cross-front house with a brick facade and wooden side-top facades and the still existing wooden rear wing with awning, curved corner windows and scalloped wind springs. In 1832 the rear wing was extended with a low wing with (second) basement and seam room (wooden cove ceiling). The front house was extended on the left in 1875 and fitted with the current roof.

Interesting interior elements in the front house are an 18th-century room paneling and a late-19th century painted paper on linen art nouveau ceiling with beam painting.
