The previous Herv church in Winkel

betekenis & definitie

(Dorpsstraat 177) is a white plastered hall church with a gable tower with eight-sided lantern and needle spire. This neoclassical church was established in 1845 according to H.H. Dansdorp to replace a predecessor. The wall tower, largely demolished and rebuilt in 1867, contains a clock (1482) by Geert van Wou. The church was restored in 1986-'87.
