(Kerkplein 1), originally dedicated to St. Pancras, is a single-nave cross church with a tower and three-sided closed choir. The church was built in the first half of the 16th century. After the associated tower was burned down in 1604, the tower was built in 1605 (restored in 1906).
The remaining bay of the then shortened ship was to serve as a consistory. In 1841 a recovery was carried out and during a radical restoration in 1950-'51 (B.T. Boeyinga and W.J. Dirkmaat) the church was de-plastered. The inventory includes a six-sided pulpit (1740) and a Maarschalkerweerd organ (1909).
