'Nieuw Valkeveen' (Valkeveenselaan 58) was laid out in 1937 as part of the job creation to a design in the new-architectural style of D.F. Tersteeg. In 1944 the first burials took place. In the middle axis of the cemetery there is an auditorium in sober functionalist style (circa 1955).
