Built as a shop with bakery is St.-Janstraat 7-7a (circa 1850, construction circa 1900). There is a hoist at the side wall. Façade façades in neo-Renaissance style have the Klakampen 24 residential housing estate (circa 1905), and the Neo-Renaissance elements are Burg. Van Nispenstraat 1-7 (circa 1910). A half-timbered facade is visible at the retail building St.-Janstraat 21 (circa 1910).
H.F. Smit designed Torenlaan 21 (circa 1918) as a white plastered residential and retail building with decorative details in clean masonry. From his hand is also the block of residential and retail premises Burg. Van Nispenstraat 11-19 (1918-'22). Shopping buildings in expressionist style are Torenlaan 40-42 (circa 1925), with high chimneys, and the shopping weaving Kerklaan 9 (1928), designed by W. Hamdorff.
