There are interesting farms in the Wieringerwaard polder.
The original 18th-century and in the 19th century converted farmhouse Noord Zijperweg 81 has an extended room at the front at both corners.
Strikingly rich is the large villa farm Bouwlust (Barsingerweg 5) from 1863 with two-layer plastered eclectic living area. Zuid Zijperweg 27 has an eclectic living area dating from around 1870. Similarly, but from around 1890, the farm Waardpolderhoofdweg 22 is built with eclectic details. The villa farm Waardpolderhoofdweg 15 (circa 1910) was built in lime sandstone. Chalet style details show the head-rump farm Zonnehove (Barsingerweg 6; 1913) and the head-rump farm Volhouden (Waardpolder Hoofdweg 26, circa 1935) has a business-expressionistic design.
