The form. soap mill 'De Adelaar' (Zaandijkerweg 5) was established in 1908 for J. Dekker and replaced the old factory destroyed by fire in 1906. According to J.P.F. van Rossem and W.J. Vuyk built the firm M. Stam & amp; Zn. the four-storey building with flat roof, concrete skeleton and steel H-beams.

The brick facades articulated by lisens have decorations in yellow stone. The company name is applied in white vitrified brick.
