In 1899 the design of D.E.C. Knock it forem. coloniehuis Frisia (Kostverlorenstraat 70), a white plastered villa with chalet style details. The form. colony house the dr. G.J. Plantingahuis (Kostverlorenstraat 95) is a plastered block-shaped building in cubist-expressionist style with loggia and balcony. It was built in 1928 after a design by P. Buurman and in 1935-'36 an enlargement followed plans by J.Th.J. and P. Cuypers jr. commissioned by the Amsterdam Association for Health and Holiday Colonies.
