The Herv church in Ijpendam
(Kerkstraat 19) is a one-aisled church with five-sided closed choir and a slender gable tower with narrowed spire. On the site of a church - burned down in 1640 - dedicated to St. Sebastian - a new church was erected in 1656. This was then partially renewed in 1713 (north façade) and 1850, and was given the current west façade with a façade in 1855...
