The former R.K. sanatorium in Wijk aan Zee
'Heliomare' (Relweg 51), consecrated in 1932 by mgr. J.D.J. Aengenent, was intended for people with tuberculosis or bone diseases. The neo-Gothic chapel from 1929 was designed by A.A.M. Bruning. The modernized and expanded building now serves as a rehabilitation center.
