The form. Public primary school (Kerkbuurt 24) is a later radically rebuilt three-class gangschool from 1868. The form. R.K. primary school Dorpsstraat 37, a four-class middle-class school from 1910, now serves as a village house and was replaced in 1940 by the traditionalist R.K. lower St Barbaraschool (Dorpsstraat 35).
