Bridge guard houses in Muiden
The Sluishuis (Sluisstraat 1) served as a toll, ferry and lock guard house and as an inn. This white plastered block-shaped building with doric pilasters and round-arch windows was built in neoclassical style around 1845 and was raised in 1914 with a mezzanine. Easier to implement is the bridge guard house Zuidpolderweg 1 (circa 1880).
