in the courtine Oranje-Promers (Ruijsdaelplein approx.) dates back to 1680, but was extensively rebuilt in 1877 (year anchors) with façades in rich eclectic style (restored 1982). The vaulted passage has a rich profiled pointed arch on the city side. On both sides of the high middle section there are low cobbled colonnades and corner towers.
Portrait medallions on the city side show King William III and Queen Sophie. The work was done by Dobbe van Pelt in 's-Hertogenbosch. The crane bridge (1877-'79) on the canal side has been secured.
