The Honorary Cemetery in Overveen

betekenis & definitie

(Zeeweg 26) came about after the war to plans of G.H.M. Holt and A. Komter. The bell was cast in 1647 by Assuerus Koster for the Herv. church of Overveen. On the cemetery are the resistance fighters J.J. Schaft († 1945) and G.J. van der Veen († 1944) buried and furthermore there is a bronze urn from L.O. Wenckebach drafted.
