The building, which was restored in 1997-98, contains a Louis XV style (wedding) room with stucco ceilings and gilded leather wallpaper. The form. council chamber has a mantelpiece in Louis XIV style (painting third quarter of the 17th century) and a Louis XV stucco ceiling. The staircase is decorated in Louis XV style. This style also includes the stucco reliefs of the four seasons (third quarter of the 18th century) in the corridor. The new town hall designed by T. Alberts & amp; M. van Huut at the Pierebaan 3 was put into operation in 1985.
