(Zarken 4) [13] was built in 1743 at the site of the old targets by carpenter Adriaan Roosendaal as city hostel and shelter of the militia. This two-storey deep building has a framed entrance and a wooden cornice in Louis XV style, with the city arms in the arched middle section. At the restoration in 1938 (A.L. Oger) the building was given the current roof shape and the large rear hall was demolished and a bay window was added.
