The Blaauwe Hof in Wormerveer

betekenis & definitie

(Hennepad 22) was founded by papermaker Dirk Blaauw and built in 1765-'66 with two rows of wooden houses on both sides of a courtyard. Of these houses, which were allied to the Frisian Mennonites in 1782, the northern row of ten dwellings has been preserved (restored in 1975).
