Spanderswoud in 's-Graveland

betekenis & definitie

(Spanderswoud 2). This large plastered country house in simple neoclassical style was built in 1860 for F. van der Ondermeulen. Mrs. J.E. Backer-De Wildt had the Spanderslaan built around 1905, as well as a decorative garden, possibly designed by D.F. Tersteeg. There are two fruit walls with the text 'G.K.H. Anno 1823 '. The park contains a bridge with a gate and a wooden gate building covered with reeds. On the terrain there are also partly white plastered service houses and stables (Spanderswoud 4) and a farm (Spanderswoud 6).
