Shops and catering in Monnickendam

betekenis & definitie

The form. herring packer's warehouse De Schulp (Noordeinde 78) with an 18th-century façade also bears a sign with the date '1698'. From 1842 to 1967 it was a store. The Kerkstraat 46 retail building has a wooden spout façade above the brick façade with curved corner window (possibly in the beginning of the 19th century and an older wooden frame).

The Kerkstraat 37 in the core of the 17th century was plastered in 1870 and was first a grocery store and from 1903 to 1984 a paint shop. Around 1880 the hotel restaurant 't Wapen van Monnickendam (Havenstraat 7) was created by merging two existing deep buildings behind a white plastered façade with a pillar-sectioned underpaint. A corner corner shop Voor De Baat Uit (Niesenoortsburgwal 2, circa 1906) has a higher corner corner. The Ransdorper Tower (Niesenoortsburgwal 4) is an old bakery that was rebuilt after fire in 1906. Business impressionist details show the store Noordeinde 48 (1936).
