Around 1880, the neoclassical home office Dorpsstraat was founded. Business-expressionist in form is the public primary school (Dorpsstraat 34), a three-class gangschool from 1925. The R.K. Lower St. Theresa School with sister house (Dorpsstraat 171-175) was established in 1924 in 'Um 1800' forms based on plans by J. Duyneter.
