Polder mill in Schellinkhout

'De Grote Molen' (Zuiderdijk 57), located to the west of Schellinkhout, is a reed-covered octagonal inner barrel from around 1630 on a wood-covered base. The polder pumping station 'Schellinkhout' (Zuiderdijk 56), built in 1900 as an auxiliary pumping station for the Polder Schellinkhout, is located near the windmill. In 1914, the pumping station took over the main drainage with a diesel mill for the existing centrifugal pump (electrified 1946).
