At the Oude Streek there are predominantly late-18th century or 19th-century fishermen's houses with plastered ground floor and a wooden partition with hatch, such as Oude Streek 30, 42, 46 and 48.
Similar fishing houses are Keern 1 and Westfriesedijk 72a (circa 1840). The houses on the Nieuwe Streek all have an overture on the waterfront. Examples of deep houses with a wooden front are New Zone 8 (circa 1800), 28, 32 and 58. In the middle of the 19th century there are the transverse single-storey buildings Nieuwe Streek 20-24. The eclectic notables house New Zone 54 with gently sloping roof was built around a front yard around 1870.
