Characteristic of Watergang are the hayhouse farms, where a stable and a higher hay house are built behind the house. Entirely in wood is the farm Dorpsstraat 18 (house before 1826, stable renewed 1899, hay house 1900).
Other haystack farms are Dorpsstraat 20 (1889) and Dorpsstraat 42 (1881, built in 1904), both with stone living area. The dwelling house of Dorpsstraat 15 only has a stone facade and the hay house (circa 1900) is partly made of stone. From around 1912, the deep stable with hay house of Dorpsstraat 13 is striking. The combination of a farmhouse with attached wooden hay house at Dorpsstraat 59 (circa 1870) is striking. The farmyard Nooitgedacht (Dorpsstraat 55, circa 1880) is accessible via a drawbridge.
