Farms in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel

betekenis & definitie

The recently restored village house farm Dorpsstraat 1 was built in 1699 and has a corrugated thatched roof, an upstairs room in the front house and a wooden business area. The façade has been renewed around 1860. The 17th-century farmhouse Holendrechterweg 8 has an out-of-the-way upstairs room. At the edges of the Polder Rondehoep, south of Ouderkerk, there are several interesting farms.

On the east side there are still some farms from the 17th century, such as Waver 34 (transversely built up room) and the small farm Waver 29 (rear 18th century), and from the 18th century, such as the farm Wavre 3. From the 17th century tribes also the farms Rondehoep Oost 8, with high waved façade and two round natural stone windows, and Zomervreugd (Rondehoep West 41) with transversely placed front house. The other farms on the west side are predominantly 19th century, such as Rondehoep Oost 13 (carved wind springs), 43, 47 (1873) and 52 (1882).
