The form. railway bridge over the Amstel (near Wilhelminakade approx.) was established in 1912 with a swing bridge and a fixed bridge. Until 1987 the railway bridge served as such, but now it is used for the express bus connection. The Prinses Irenebrug over the Amstel (near Schans approx.) Is a bascule bridge with a bridge keeper's house from 1939.
