(geb. 1932) Engels schrijver, studeerde Engels, was piloot, journalist (o.m. bij de 'Sunday Times') en omroepmedewerker. Hij schrijft spannende avonturenverhalen, waarin de hoofdpersonen meestal piloten zijn die op laconieke, dikwijls humoristische toon hun avonturen vertellen.
