The transformer house in Santpoort
on the Biezenweg, built around 1917 after a design by J.B. van Loghem for the Kennemer Elektriciteits Maatschappij, has a frieze of red ceramic tiles and glazed tiles with the image of a dog (guard) and a cock (watchman).
