The previous Herv church in Schardam
(Schardam 27) is a one-aisled church with five-sided closure. This church in a Gothic style replaced a late medieval church in 1662 (facing brick). Around 1860 the west facade and the roof rider were renewed. In the roof rider hangs a clock (1497) cast by Geert van Wou.
