The Haukessluis in Westerland
in the Slootvaart, located to the south of Westerland (municipality Wieringermeer), is a single lock from 1931 with a wooden service house (Haukessluisweg 6, circa 1930). At the cut in the dike at the location of the hamlet De Haukes there is a bailer shed (at De Haukes 20, circa 1931).
