The former lime kiln complex in Huizen
Havenstraat 111-113 was built in 1918-20 for the Gebr. S. and H. Vos for the production of shell lime. After the closure around 1975 followed the demolition of the kilns in 1989. In 1995, the whole with old material rebuilt as a restaurant complex. There are four round shaft furnaces - one with a higher chimney - and a lesson or fire house.
