The foremost steam pumping station in Oudendijk
'Beetskoog' (Beets Koogkade 2) with driver's house was built in 1877 according to W.C. and K. de Wit. In 1916 it received a Bronze engine and a Stork centrifugal pump. Shortly after the electrification of the pumping station in 1932 the chimney pipe was demolished.
