The foremone Mennonite admonition in Zaandam
'De Doofpot' (Oostzijde 82), since 1948 in use as Apost. church, is in 1860-'61 to a sober neoclassical design of L.J. Immink erected eight-sided church. The upper middle section has a tent roof and crowning pinacle. Characteristic are the round arch fringes and round arch windows. The roof construction is equipped with Philibert trusses.
