Sluices and pumping stations in Krommenie
The form. steam pumping station Noordervaartdijk 26-27 is a white plastered neoclassical building from 1877 (enlarged 1900). At the rear is a brick chimney. The Noordervaartdijk 20 electric pumping station was built around 1920 at the Noordersluis, a lock built in 1633 as a link to the Nauernasche Vaart (restored 1940).
