Sint Maartensbrug (municipality of Zijpe)
Cross-shaped village, founded shortly after the final dikes of the Zijpe and Hazepolder in 1596-'97. The buildings concentrated on the Grote Sloot and Sint-Maartensweg on the right. After the Second World War the village was expanded somewhat in the northern quadrant.
