Company buildings in Uithoorn
Built around 1950 the form. cannery of the 'Uithoorn Bacon and Canned Foods' (P. Steenkampweg 1). The office of 'Cindu International' (Amsteldijk Noord 35) dates from around 1965. Since 1922, crude coal tar has been processed here - originally by the Dutch Tar and Asphalt Industry - into naphthalene, carbolineum and asphalt.
