Fenethylalcohol, C6H5CH2CH2OH, kookpunt 203 °C, komt voor in veel etherische oliën, o.a. rozenolie, hyacintolie. Bijna alle parfums bevatten fenethylalcohol. Synthetisch wordt het bereid uit ethylfenylacetaat.
