William Richard Morris, viscount (sinds 1938), Engels industrieel, *10.10.1877 Worcester, ♱22.8.1963 Henley on Thames. Nuffield bracht het van fietsenmaker tot automobielmagnaat (hij vervaardigde zijn eerste auto in 1911).
De voornaamste firma van de Nuffield Organization, een groot Brits concern van automobielfabrieken (waaronder Wolsely, Riley), was de Morris Motor Ltd. In 1952 fusioneerde deze met Austin Motor Co. tot de British Motor Corporation Ltd., in 1966 British Motor Holdings Ltd., die in 1968 fusioneerde met Leyland Motor Corporation tot British Leyland Motor Corporation.
