Arthur, HongaarsEngels journalist en schrijver, *5.9.1905 Boedapest. Koestier werd in 1926 correspondent in het MiddenOosten voor de Neue Freie Presse te Wenen, in 1929 werd hij cor respondent te Parijs.
In 1932 begaf hij zich naar de USSR, waar hij een jaar lang als zelfstandig journa list werkzaam was. In de Spaanse Burgeroorlog werd hij door de News Chronicle (Londen) als speciaal verslaggever ter plaatse geëngageerd. Van 194142 was hij verslaggever bij de Britse legers. Koestier schreef een groot aantal politiek getinte romans.
