TROMP (Johannes Wybrandus), geb. te Lekkum 29 April 1813, overl. te Leeuwarden 25 Oct. 1866, zoon van Tiete SolkesT. enWytsche Florison, liet zich 7 Oct. 1833 inschrijven als student aan de hoogeschool te Leiden, waar hij in 1836 in de rechten promoveerde op een proefschrift: Commentatio, Digestorum seu Pandectorum partium quatuor priorum ex codicibus rescriptis illustrationem continens (Lugd. Bat. 1836) en in 1837 op Dissertatio Jur. inaug. annotationes ad nonnulla Ictorum fragmenta continens (Leov. 1837).
