Worker's housing in Zaandam
Examples of late-19th-century wooden workers' houses are Herengracht 89 (top façade), the transverse buildings Hanenpad 48, Herengracht 69 and 81, and the mansard roof houses Hogendijk 66-68, Herengracht 53 and 77. From around 1890 the plastered block dates from railway worker housing Westzijde 428-432.
