William M. Conway
Sir, (1856-1934), Eng. kunsthistoricus en reiziger, trok o.a. 1892 door het Himalayagebied, 1896-'97 Spitsbergen, daama Vuurland, de Andes, schreef een standaardwerk over de eerste houtsnijders in Nederland: The History of the Woodcutters in the Netherlands (1884).
