The foremost public telephone office in IJmuiden
from the Ned. Bell Telephoon (Visseringstraat 2) is a small building dating from 1896 with brick decorations and ornamental prints. The form. post office in IJmuiden with director's house (Kanaalstraat 61), a two-storey building from around 1905 with chalet style elements and neo-Gothic details, was probably designed by C.H. Peters.
